During operation, corn seeds are picked up by the rotating seed plate and guided through the seed tube into the furrow by the seed guide wheel.
Centrifugal force and gravity ensure each seed is accurately placed for single-seed planting.
Excess seeds are removed and returned to the filling zone for reuse, achieving precise and efficient seeding.

Installation and Adjustment
Installation instructions
This machine is available in 2-row, 3-row, and 4-row models. Installation is similar for all models:
- Attach the fertilizer openers to the front beam.
- Install the seeding units on the rear beam.
- Fix the fertilizer boxes on both sides of the crossbeam.
Note: Ensure the fertilizer openers and seeding openers are staggered by at least 50 mm to prevent seed burning. - Tighten all U-bolts evenly and keep the shaft holes aligned.
Row spacing adjustment
- Loosen U-bolts and mounting clamps.
- Adjust the position of the drive plate and speed shaft.
- Adjust the fertilizer sprockets and chain tension.
- After adjustment, fix everything and recalibrate the opener spacing.
Single-seed mode
The seed metering device is preset at the factory for “one seed per hole” mode.
Plant spacing adjustment
Use the gear lever to change the transmission ratio for four spacing options:

Seeding and fertilizing depth adjustment
- Fertilizer Depth: Loosen U-bolts and move the fertilizer opener up or down. Fertilizer should generally be 50 mm deeper than the seeding depth.
- Seeding Depth: Rotate the adjustment handwheel to change the opener height. Clockwise rotation decreases depth; counterclockwise increases depth.
Seeding rate adjustment
- Adjust the seed plate positioning tab to control missing and double seeds.
- Raising the tab reduces double seeds; lowering the tab reduces missed seeds.
- Two types of seed plates are supplied; choose based on seed type.
Fertilizer rate adjustment
- Turn the handwheel to change the working length of the fertilizer disc:
- Clockwise → increase fertilizer rate
- Counterclockwise → decrease fertilizer rate
Chain tension adjustment
- Adjust the main drive chain with the tensioner.
- Maintain proper chain tension to prevent slipping or derailment.
- Recheck and adjust if the chain becomes loose during operation.
Operating requirements
- Do not exceed the recommended working speed:

- Do not tow the planter at high speed.
- Lower the machine slowly during operation to prevent opener clogging.
- Monitor seeding and fertilizing continuously; stop immediately if any abnormalities occur and inspect the machine.
